Cardiac patients self-help & voluntary group based in Brighton, East Sussex.


The Take Heart Group is for individuals who have controlled heart conditions, are on the recovery pathway from surgery to significantly reduce the risk of another cardiac event or to help prevent the worsening of an already existing cardiovascular condition by participating in cardiovascular exercise.

BSTHG provide phase IV cardiac rehabilitation, and healthy heart exercise sessions, which actively promote a healthy lifestyle; these involve gym exercises available in several locations in Sussex, and always include some relaxation and often has an educational and social time attached.
